Happy Halloween - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Halloween is not my favorite holiday, but I do enjoy a few things about it. Greeting the neighbors, seeing it through my grandkids eyes, and nice fall weather.

Poor Sawyer was sick this year, so we missed seeing him dressed up. My son actually is a police officer, so his costume is legit!
This picture, bottom right (above) was the view from our porch. Lots of fun stuff happening in the neighborhood. This was four years ago, and we didn't have quite as many trick or treaters this year.
I'm not sure of the paper line, but how cute are these little bats, witch, and spider web stickers. I don't normally use a lot of stickers, but this was such a cute collection.

Thanks for checking out my Halloween layout!

Sunshine and Good Times - Two Page Fall Scrapbook Layout

Hello! I have another fun fall layout to share with you today. We took our grandkids to the local sunflower field. We picked some flowers and took some fun photos together.

Aren't they the cutest? We had such a great time enjoying the massive field of sunflowers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Have a lovely weekend!

Teton Glaciers - Two Page Travel Scrapbook Layout

Hello scrappy friends! Hope your week is off to a good start.

I have a few more scrapbook layouts from our trip to the Tetons in September 2020. It was such a trying year! What a blessing to be able to get away and enjoy God's creation at it's very best!

This collection is KaiserCraft "Let's Go". It worked perfectly with my pictures and I wish I had more of it. Having the stamps, ephemera and zip strip from the same collection makes it all so easy to assemble a coordinated page. I designed my title and journaling in a text inside a drawn box with my Cricut. The title font is "Go Canada"
I really like the color of the background paper. It's kind of a stormy blue.
Hope you are inspired to create today! Come back soon! Only a few Teton layouts left to share.

Take the Scenic Route - Two Page Travel Scrapbook Layout

Here's another layout from our rafting trip in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This was the last full day of our trip, so we wanted to do something a little different. As I mentioned before, we didn't see much wildlife, but we had a good time and the views were beautiful from the Snake River. And did I mention, our guide did ALL the paddling.

While the raft looks like it might be comfortable. Me and my knees were struggling with it, but it was still enjoyable.
The Cricut journaling is a bit time consuming with their current program, but it makes the story so much more legible.
The paper is Close to My Heart "Aurora", "Timber" and Scrapbook Customs "Camping Things".
I'm not sure which brand the washi is (black wood grain), but I used that to border my patterned paper, and cut the other epehemera from Design Space. I used some miscellaneous scraps and zip strip for the banners in the corner.
I believe the mountain scene was a sticker from the Scrapbook customs paper set.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your week.

#grandmalife - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

We are very blessed to have our two grandchildren living within 15 minutes of us. Many grandparents have to travel so much farther to enjoy their littles. We sometimes pick them up from school, take them for donuts, to the park, or the Dollar Store. Sometimes they also get to stay up late, eat popcorn, watch movies and spend the night at our house. This is from a overnighter a few years ago. Time is a thief!

I used an assortment of patterned paper and layered them up pennants together going one way across the page. Double layering the pictures is not real common for me, but I love the extra emphasis it adds with this layout.
We have so much fun with these two!! We have our moments of struggle, as well, but that is all part of it, and worth it all!
I used an oval scalloped punch to frame up the "memories" embellishment, a white jelly roll pen on navy for the date, and the Cricut for my bullet journaling. The hearts were cut with my Cricut and added to the left of each bullet point. One of the zip strips from the bottom of the patterned paper was perfect for tearing and adding to look like Washi tape at the top of a picture.

I like how the layout turned out and love the smiling faces on these pages . Hope you are inspired in some way. Have a crafty week.

Explore - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Today I'm sharing another layout from the sunflower field photo shoot a few years ago. This one features my sweet, and super smart grandson! This little man is such a blessing!

Just look at him! What a little stinker. They were both enjoying all the attention.

This is one for his album. He enjoys looking at his book almost as much as his Sissy. I really need to add to it more often!! Slacker Grandma.

The paper, journaling card and zip strip are from Close to My Heart "Dream Big" collection. I cut the title with my Cricut. I added some little banners and woodgrain pieces from my scraps and the buttons and markers are StampinUp! I added a little bit of narrow sunflower washi tape to attach the journaling card on the side.

This is a really simple layout, but I absolutely love it, mainly because my favorite people are gracing the pages with smiles.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Enjoy this amazing fall weather!

Halloween - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays. But it's been fun to see it through their eyes and experience it with them. They typically hit another neighborhood and then come over to ours and we all walk around together as a family. I have loved that. We are so proud of our family, even in the midst of current struggles. Thankfully, these are very happy memories looking back...

The eyeball candy was a big hit. Of course, it's Reeses cups, so why wouldn't it be? And you can stick them in your eyes for even more fun. Oh my goodness. This layout is from Halloween 2018!Wow! Seems like yesterday.

This page was pretty simple with two different coordinating patterned papers and few stickers. But look at all of the pictures that I was able to work into the layout and still have some design! I like to overlap pictures too when the page is tight. It gives it a bit more casual look. Wallets and small squares are so helpful for this. I wanted to use them all. The striped paper across the middle is from the zip strips on the bottom of the patterned paper. Super easy to add a little detail with these.
There is just something about a little purple and green on a Halloween page. I love the way it turned out and look forward to Halloween with the grands again this weekend! Hope you all are having a great week.
