Here is the last page of my son and daughter-in-law's wedding album! I've been sharing these pages for several months now and we've finally come to the end. :)
They had so many great pictures during the reception, it was really hard to choose just enough for a two page layout! I trimmed a few of them down to 4x4 in order to pack a few more in. Wallet size pics are also a good choice for a page like this with so many awesome pictures to choose from. You will notice I mixed color pictures with black and white throughout this album.
Oh to be this young again!! 😍 They had such a great time celebrating. My son was part of an a Capella group at Ball State and many of them were at the wedding. I kept waiting for them to all break out in song for us, but the upper right picture is the closest they came. Look at all that hair!!
The paper here is a metallic wood grain! It's hard to see it in these photographs, but it is so pretty! One of those papers you almost hate to use (or is that just me??)!
I cut some banners to use down the center of the project to highlight the picture of them dancing together and added a little bit of twine around the banners for the finishing touch.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out this wedding album. If you'd like to see all of the layouts for this wedding album in one place, you can find them on Pinterest: My Scrapbook Pages - Wedding

Garter Toss - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Pages
How is everybody doing out there? How are you handling the social distancing and possible isolation that is happening in our country right now? While it can be a very unsettling time, I'm choosing to stay positive and trying to make the most of it. We are working from home, which is awesome, but the reason behind it does make me sad. Praying our nation will get through this together and that we will stand united, taking care of each other along the way.
On a more joyous note, I'm sharing another two page wedding layout from my son and DIL's wedding a few years back. I was so grateful to be able to put a wedding album together for them.
Remember to look in on your neighbors and take good care of each other.

Sorry for the weird variation in color on the photographs of these layouts. The sun must have been coming in the window where I was shooting these in a way that I didn't notice until now. I love the ease of using washi tape! I used 2 different woodgrains along with a floral to ground the photos on this page.
As you can see, my son and the boys had a great time together! Crazy kids enjoying their big day. They will look back on their wedding day with such great memories!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your extra time at home means a little more craft time for you. I'm hoping I can be a little more productive this week myself. Blessings and safety to all of you!!Remember to look in on your neighbors and take good care of each other.

Bouquet Toss - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
We're getting down to the last few wedding layouts from my son and daughter-in-love's wedding album. I hope you are finding some inspiration in these multi-picture, double layouts.
I just love the look on her face as she's getting ready for the big toss. So cute!!
I didn't add a lot of embellishment to this page, but hopefully just enough to bring out the pictures, sentiments, and memories of their big day. Since this page was all about the single ladies, I added a doilie and some mini punched flowers to go along with the pink matted pictures. The larger layer of the bottom flower was cut from a scrap of patterned paper that I had in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great rest of the week!

Let us Eat Cake - Two Page Wedding Layout
My son and daughter-in-love's wedding reception was unique in many ways. They served breakfast food, and even the desserts were breakfast foods. It was all really good! After they fed each other, the wedding party served the desserts to all of their guests. They did this instead of a reception line.
This floral paper was one of my faves to use in their album. It brought in the colors of their wedding so nicely. I just used little pieces of it as embellishments here and there to add a bit of color.
I saved this lace-topped paper especially for this layout.😍 I added a plain Kraft banner across the top and few more pennants to mark the date. I'm sure we won't forget the date, but I try to add it anyway for future generations.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope these layouts inspire you in some way.

Dance with Me - Two Page Wedding Layout
Oh the memories of this dance with my son. I'm sure I danced with him when he was a boy, but this was my first, and last (only) dance with him as a grown man. It was very emotional for me. My Mom had just passed away from Parkinson's disease the day before his wedding! What a roller coaster of emotion. It was a little overwhelming.
Katie and her Dad are quite close, so this was also a very touching moment. We all tried to celebrate the day and make the most of this once in a lifetime family event. I think we did okay, all considered. Yes, I was an emotional wreck, but for the most part I was overjoyed for my son and daughter-in-love.
Love these pictures of their first dance.
What do you think of these black chandeliers that I cut with my Cricut? When I found these in Design Space I was so excited! I added a little Wink of Stella to make them shimmer. I love the way they add some elegance, accentuating my favorite pictures. The chandelier in the gold frame was an embellishment that came in a pack of wedding paper. I added gold washi, a title, and done!
Wasn't he just 3 years old, eating snacks at the little plastic picnic table, playing with cars, chasing after his big brother, and riding his tricycle? Good heavens....How does time fly so incredibly fast. 😭😭😭
Thanks for stopping by. Only a few wedding layouts left to share.

Blessings and Toasts - Two Page Wedding Layout
Yes, I even scrapped the blessings and toast. The photographer captured their reactions in these photographs, but I wish could scrapbook videos as the toasts were quite funny.
On top, we have the bride who's changed into her dancin' shoes! So fun!
On the right side (above) my oldest, roasts/toasts his baby brother (the groom). As always, he was quite comical and had the place rolling. I love these boys together!

There were so many moments to capture, so I added a few wallets to tell as much of the story as possible - 9 pictures total. Again, I tried not to go overboard with embellishments to let the pictures steal the show.
Thanks for stopping by and hanging in there through all the wedding layouts. Even if you never plan to do a wedding album, these layouts can be used to inspire you with photo placement on a page. Sometimes that is the hardest part for me. Think of it as a sketch.
Have a great week!

Celebrate - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layouts
I've been posting these layouts in chronological order and we're at our first reception layout! Hope you enjoy it!
You can easily tell the extraoverts in the bridal party. If it were me, I'd be walking in normal, because I have a hard time letting loose in front of a group. Guess I worry too much about what others think. I also don't enjoy the center of attention very much. I do love watching those who seem to enjoy the lime light! I secretly wish I could be more like them. 😄
I changed the color scheme of the paper a little bit due to the lighting in the reception hall. The images are from Design Space, including the title and the banners. Simple, but elegant is what I was going for.

Best Day Ever - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
Time to share another layout from my youngest son and daughter-in-love's wedding album. It's possible I've said this with other pages, but this is one of my faves!! So many pictures, and so hard to choose the best ones for the album.
Aren't they just the cutest! I tried to keep my page simple, but wanted to highlight the photo of them on this gorgeous old bridge. In addition to the white mat, I added a second patterned mat and laid it down on a patterned banner to bring out the color of the bridge. These were both scraps I happened to have in my stash. I love using my scraps!! I was pretty excited to find the title in Design Space too.
The little bit of twine wrapped around pictures on either side give added another layer of detail and texture. Could the lighting have been any better for these pictures? Even the black and whites add a little drama to the layout.
I hope you are inspired by the wedding layouts that I've been sharing! I have 5 or 6 more to share from the reception, so be sure to stop back.
Have a crafty weekend and stay warm!

Family is Forever - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
The lighting outside of the chapel after the ceremony was so amazing. There were some clouds starting to roll in, but it couldn't have been better for the outdoor family pictures.
I kept the layout simple, matting the photos in the same color as the bridesmaids' dresses. The pretty floral was perfect to add a little pizzazz and balance the page, along with the owl embellishment that came with the paper. I am so happy that my DIL's sweet Grandma was able to be there for the wedding and for this precious photo. Sadly, she has now passed on, but this page will help keep her memory alive.
Are you lovin' this title? I thought it was perfect for the page. I sized it in Design Space to fit the corner of my page and cut it with my Cricut in colors to match the wedding party. I also used my Cricut to write out the quote.

Celebrate Love - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
Is anybody else happy that it's Friday?? Man, it just couldn't come soon enough for me this week. I love my job, but sometimes, I'd just rather be home playing in my craft room!
Today, I have another layout from my son and daughter-in-law's wedding album. These pictures were taken directly after the ceremony, outside of the chapel. The lighting was so perfect!
Choosing pictures was the worst...so many great options! Thankfully, I was able to pack a lot of pics on this page.
Aren't they they cutest couple! We are chest-popping proud of both of our boys! We are blessed beyond measure, for sure. Their wives have brought so much additional joy into our lives. The empty nest stage of life is growing more familiar and enjoyable as our kids become the great people we always hoped and prayed they would be. 😍 The resulting grandchildren are our greatest reward for surviving the toddler and teen years.
It's such a cute saying, but honestly, there was no "stealing" necessary!

Two Shall Become One - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
The title says it all. This is what marriage is all about. Coming together as a couple and sticking it out through thick and thin. I'm so thankful for my husband and that God handpicked him for me. I doubt there is any other who could put up with me for almost 35 years!!
Here is my handsome son and daughter-in-love as they tied the knot in October 2017. It was a very intimate, and fun ceremony. There was love, laughter, and promises made!
Looking back at this, I'm second guessing my card stock choice. Maybe white would have been a more formal and better back drop for the title and pics. Oh well! I've already given it to them now, and I do love it...just wondering if I'd love it even more? Do you do that to yourself when you look back at your layouts? Geesh!!! It's done and perfectly acceptable just as it is...Let it go, Julie! 🙈
Above is a pic of my oldest son (big brother of the groom - always the jester 😂) pretending to have lost the ring. Little brother is NOT buying it, but still entertained by the charade. I'm so glad they could relax and be themselves on such a big day!!

"We Gather Together" - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout
Hope you all enjoyed your holidays! They go way too fast. We are still decorated for Christmas, partially because we have extended family coming to celebrate this weekend. I thought I better get in a quick post before things get crazy with preparations.
This is another wedding layout from my son and daughter-in-love's wedding in the fall of 2017. The pictures are the parents being ushered into the ceremony.
This layout is not one of my favorites for some reason. Well, first of all, I am in it. 😜 Secondly, it's kind of pale, but I do think it works well with the pictures. The title makes it for me. Hope you like it. You know, they can't all be our favorites, right?
I managed to fit 7 pictures on this two pager and still had some room for design elements. Most of the design is part of the patterned paper. I added some decorative tape and a key that I had in my stash. The horizontal tape across the bottom helps to tie the pics together and ground them a bit. The key is just for fun. The chandeliers bring a bit of elegance to the page to highlight this treasured moment in time. The Mom's are highlighted with striped matts and color photos. I used black and white for the rest of the pictures. Do you ever mix black and white photos with color photos on the same layout?

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - Family
I'm on a roll posting layouts this week! Here's an older layout with pictures from a family wedding back in April, 2015.
My brother and I (and our spouses) took my Mom to my cousin's daughter's wedding. The destination is about an hour and a half north. My Mom was in mid to late stage Parkinsons and the thought of taking her that far was daunting to all of us. But we did it, without too much trouble. I think she enjoyed herself, although she had trouble smiling and expressing her emotions.
This is probably one of our last "big" outings with her. She passed away last October. I miss her so much! Looking back at these pictures brings back mostly good memories of a day well spent with her and extended family.
I know it seems odd that I don't have a pic of the bride and groom, probably because I don't really know the actual bride that well. But, it was so great to see our cousins on this side of the family!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! We'll see how long my posting streak continues.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "So Fancy"
Happy Saturday!
Who doesn't love a great wedding. Here's a layout of a family member's wedding. It's such a great photo op when we're all dressed up and in the same place at the same time! :)
Look at the beautiful humans that I love!
The polka dot is actually gold foil. I used vellum and gold layers for the flower (SU 5 petal flower punch).
