"We Gather Together" - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout

Hope you all enjoyed your holidays! They go way too fast. We are still decorated for Christmas, partially because we have extended family coming to celebrate this weekend. I thought I better get in a quick post before things get crazy with preparations.

This is another wedding layout from my son and daughter-in-love's wedding in the fall of 2017. The pictures are the parents being ushered into the ceremony.

 This layout is not one of my favorites for some reason. Well, first of all, I am in it. 😜 Secondly, it's kind of pale, but I do think it works well with the pictures. The title makes it for me. Hope you like it. You know, they can't all be our favorites, right?

 I managed to fit 7 pictures on this two pager and still had some room for design elements. Most of the design is part of the patterned paper. I added some decorative tape and a key that I had in my stash. The horizontal tape across the bottom helps to tie the pics together and ground them a bit. The key is just for fun. The chandeliers bring a bit of elegance to the page to highlight this treasured moment in time. The Mom's are highlighted with striped matts and color photos. I used black and white for the rest of the pictures. Do you ever mix black and white photos with color photos on the same layout?

Two Page Layout - "Craft On"

Do any of you love to go away for an entire weekend and scrapbook with your friends? I am a lucky girl and get do this 3 times a year!! Woot! My husband is such a sweetheart and doesn't mind too much when I take off for a weekend of scrapbooking with friends.

The River Retreat House, Perrysville, Indiana, is one of my favorite scrapbooking destinations!! A beautiful old house to relax and enjoy time away with friends. It's totally worth the drive.

 So here is my scrapbook page about my scrapbooking weekend. =)

 The paper and embellishments are Echo Park's "This & That" collection.

 The title is from Cricut's Quarter Note cartridge. Here's a close up of the cute, itty bitty banner. The baker's twine is strung between two brads with a key.

Two Page Layout - "MDP"

I wanted to share this layout from a special ministry I help with at our church called Modern Day Princess. We work with young ladies who want to grow their relationship with Christ and learn their full potential as a Daughter of the King.

 Aren't they beautiful young ladies? I am very proud of them and honored to serve as their table leader. Even though this was my third time through the class, I continue to learn more about scripture and God's love for us, each time.

 The paper is Creative Imaginations "Iron Orchid Designs". I love the whimsical look. The diecut framing the title is cut from Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I purchased the key with the crown at Michaels.

 The washi tape is from Meijer and I added a few My Minds Eye brads and added journalling along the curve of the flower stems.
