Happy 7 - Two Page birthday girl scrapbook layout

Why haven't I posted this one yet? We're getting ready to celebrate our granddaughter's 11th!! Oh well, apparently I'm a few years behind. Shocker!

She is spunky, a little sassy, and a lot of sweetness! We couldn't love her more.

I love seeing the expressions on her face and watching her open her gifts. She looks so young here!!

I added some little details like photo corners, file tabs, washi tape, and mixed some patterned paper, along with layering up some of journal cards and embellishments. The aqua twine seems to tie it all together.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Trick or Treat Y'all - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Here is a fun two page Halloween scrapbook layout from 2019. Hope you get some spooky inspiration as you go into your trick or treating season.

White pumpkins are so pretty. I used this one for my title. All of this came straight from Design Space. I just had to size it to fit the corner of my page. Love the bat and bird on the corner banner detail.

And for the right side, some spooky bats to add a little balance to the white pumpkin on the left.

The silly faces of my family above make these pages the best. Their are nine pictures here. Wallets help so much to add the outtakes or any other pictures that add to the page without having to be center stage.
Hope you love this page as much as I do! The people in it are my faves!! Happy Halloween Y'all!

Apple Festival - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Fall is my favorite, as I'm sure I've mentioned before.🍎🍁🍂 Today, I'm sharing another fall layout from a few years back. This one is featuring pictures from the Kendallville Apple Festival. It was a beautiful day and I have such great memories from being together as a family.

I am such a sucker for woodgrain paper. Most of the embellishments I used are from a fall stack of paper, including some stickers. I cut the title and swirl with my Cricut. Typically, I'm not a big fan of stickers, but they do make for a quick page that coordinates easily.
I loved the banner on one of the extra paper scraps, so I just cut it out the best I could and slapped it up in the corner. I'm still not sure that I'm a big fan of how it turned out. I added a few word banners which were also from the same fall paper pack.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope you have a productive and happy weekend.

Blessings and Toasts - Two Page Wedding Layout

Yes, I even scrapped the blessings and toast. The photographer captured their reactions in these photographs, but I wish could scrapbook videos as the toasts were quite funny.
On top, we have the bride who's changed into her dancin' shoes! So fun!
On the right side (above) my oldest, roasts/toasts his baby brother (the groom). As always, he was quite comical and had the place rolling. I love these boys together!
There were so many moments to capture, so I added a few wallets to tell as much of the story as possible - 9 pictures total. Again, I tried not to go overboard with embellishments to let the pictures steal the show.

Thanks for stopping by and hanging in there through all the wedding layouts. Even if you never plan to do a wedding album, these layouts can be used to inspire you with photo placement on a page. Sometimes that is the hardest part for me. Think of it as a sketch.

Have a great week!

Two Shall Become One - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout

The title says it all. This is what marriage is all about. Coming together as a couple and sticking it out through thick and thin. I'm so thankful for my husband and that God handpicked him for me. I doubt there is any other who could put up with me for almost 35 years!!

Here is my handsome son and daughter-in-love as they tied the knot in October 2017. It was a very intimate, and fun ceremony. There was love, laughter, and promises made!
Looking back at this, I'm second guessing my card stock choice. Maybe white would have been a more formal and better back drop for the title and pics. Oh well! I've already given it to them now, and I do love it...just wondering if I'd love it even more? Do you do that to yourself when you look back at your layouts? Geesh!!! It's done and perfectly acceptable just as it is...Let it go, Julie! 🙈
Above is a pic of my oldest son (big brother of the groom - always the jester 😂) pretending to have lost the ring. Little brother is NOT buying it, but still entertained by the charade. I'm so glad they could relax and be themselves on such a big day!!
Hope you are enjoying all the wedding layouts! I still have all the layouts with pics from after the ceremony and a few from the reception to share! Thanks for stopping by.

"The Boys" - Two Page Wedding Layout

Now it's time to share my layout of the boys getting ready for the wedding. They had their own kind of fun, as boys normally do. 😜
Definitely a more masculine look for this layout with hounds tooth check and shiny mustache paper. There was a LOT of facial hair in the room!!  I sized the title and the tie to work together on the page. Both were cut with my Cricut. Look at that sweet little grandson of ours getting his hair combed by his handsome Daddy!!! He's so full of sweetness and a little bit of chaos. Couldn't love him more!
How are we so blessed to have two tall, handsome young men as our sons?? Not only are they handsome, but they are good, God fearing men who love their families and leave their mark on the world around them. They are not perfect, but they strive to be the best they can be and we couldn't be more proud of them!!! This guy right here, the groom, is our baby, and I still miss having him around the house and our conversations. He always loved and appreciated my cooking, whatever I made. He was even super helpful around the house and the yard.
Not sure why the coloration of this picture is off, but the left background is all white (like the right side). I used the Cricut to journal this one too. More from the boys later on in the album. They are such a hoot!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have many more wedding layouts to share with you!

"The Girls" - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Page

Here's another layout from my son and DIL's wedding album which I recently completed. This layout is of the girls getting ready before the wedding. They were having so much fun together.
I love all the pictures and it was so hard to decide! Thankfully, I was able to work all of these onto one layout without it detracting from the design. I used gold foil for the crown and the photo corners. It was so exciting to find the white sparkly bow in my stash! The journaling was done on my Cricut machine. Throughout the album, I used some of my own handwriting too. Cricut writes WAY better than I do!
Her braids were so pretty! Beautiful young ladies, beautiful smiles, beautiful dresses and so much anticipation!
I was able to get 9 photos on here including the 2 wallets and I still had room for some decorative tape and a little bit of bling. Thanks for stopping by today! Lots more wedding pages to share soon!

"All the Things" - Two Page Wedding Layout

My youngest son was married two years ago to a beautiful young lady! We are super happy to have Katie as our second daughter-in-love! She fits right in with our crazy family. They are a great pair and I look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for them.

I took the plunge and created a wedding album for them. I loved doing it, and I hope they will enjoy it for years to come. I'm proud of how it turned out and am happy to start sharing some of the layouts.

I thought I would try to follow a theme throughout the album, but honestly, I just couldn't do it. Overall the color theme is close, though, since many of the colors are repeated in all of the photos.
I love everything fall, so these colors are right up my alley. The background paper is so pretty and works so well with the pictures.
I hope you are inspired and will come back for future posts. You may not have any weddings to scrapbook in the near future, but all of these layouts are easy to use with all types of themes.

Thanks for stopping by. Come back soon so you can see the beautiful Bride and Groom! 😻

Two page Scrapbook Layout - "Old City"

I only have a few more Israel layouts to share!  So many great pictures, but I had to narrow it down significantly to keep it in one large album. This layout features pictures from the temple.
It was so much HOTTER than normal while we were there and there was not much shade to be found within the walls. We kept walking and it was totally worth all the sweat!
The picture above (lower right) is our entire group. Remember this was a work trip, so it was such a blessing to experience this Holy place with others who we know and love, and who share our beliefs.
There were so many pictures, I really kept the embellishments to a minimum. These are travel stickers and travel washi tape that I had in my stash for quite some time. Hope you are inspired, and thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Pool Time"

As promised, here's my pool layout. 😀 We have so much fun together! This pool looks so inviting right now with the heat wave we've had going on. Guess we need our own pool. 😎

These pictures are from time with our extended family in Michigan two summers back. We don't get to see our TX family very often, so it's always a special time together when they are able to join in the fun.
Doesn't this look inviting? I used some fun patterned paper for the title to jazz up the plain background. The washi tape and white puffy clouds seemed like the perfect addition. I doodled around the edges of the clouds and sun with a white gel pen. The center of the sun is popped out with dimensionals.
These pictures are from two years ago and so much has changed since then. It is so bittersweet to see them all grow up. My youngest son wasn't even married yet in these pictures, my Mom was still alive, and my youngest grandchild wasn't even in pre-school yet. Time sure does fly!!
Feeling super blessed by my family!! Hope you enjoyed checking out my pool layout. Thanks for stopping by!

Two page Layout - "Hoppy Easter"

Spring is definitely arriving in northeastern Indiana! We're all so ready! To celebrate, I'm going to take a short break from posting my Israel layouts and share a little Easter.

These pictures are from coloring eggs a few years back. We're trying to form some strong traditions with our kids and grandkids and coloring eggs is one of them. Even my full grown boys and their wives seem to enjoy it. If you're trying to start traditions with your busy families, my suggestion is to get it on the calendar as soon as possible, so everybody can be there to enjoy it. Speaking of that, I need to get it on the family calendar for this year!
The grandkids are starting to enjoy doing these things together as a family too! I love that we're making memories that they will hold onto long after PawPaw and I are gone. I hope they will also enjoy looking back through all of my scrapbooks and keeping the pages that are special to them.
I love this because it shows all of the silliness that we share as a family too. Between my boys and their wives playing the part of "creepy" Easter bunny, and the occasional splashing of the colored egg dye, and the other chaos that ensues, it's always a great time together! Everybody gets to take home the eggs they made to eat them throughout the week.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope you are beginning to see spring break through in your area too! Soon the trees will begin to blossom. The hope of Easter is right around the corner!!

Two Page Birthday Layout - "Another Birthday"

We've officially been in our new home a full year! How exciting!!! Time has flown by, but we're loving this new chapter of our life called empty nesting. Sometimes it's a little lonely, but I'm not home that much to really think about it or get lonely.

This celebration is the first one in our new home! We had only moved in a few weeks prior, but we managed to celebrate my sweet hubby in the midst of it all.
These are my favorite humans right here! We even rocked the group selfie with my oldest creeping on me! I sure do love them all! There are so many families who struggle to get along, but most of the time we enjoy being together. We're so blessed to be in close proximity, too.
I'm loving the polka dot with the little green plaid banners. I used a border punch along the edge, cut some plaid banners to match the photo matts and topped it off with an adorable deer paper clip. I am slightly obsessed with antlers right now. I used my Cricut to write the journaling! It's so much neater than my own. I will continue to throw in some of my own handwriting in all my scrapbooks, though. It's easier, and it makes it more personal. Some day, when I'm gone, they will appreciate seeing my scribbly writing, just as I do my Mom's writing, now that she is gone.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!

Two Page Layout - "Crafty Crop Inn"

Have you ever scrapped a scrapbook event? Once a year, I get together with a close group of friends and rent a retreat house. It's such a great time scrapping together for an extended period of time. We spend a lot of time just catching up, laughing, scrapping, preparing meals, and eating together. What a great time!
This was our first and only time at this particular retreat house. We had fun, but since then, we tried out a few other retreat houses that ended up being closer and we liked them better.
We try to get a picture of us all together each year! This summer,  we'll be adding a few more to our annual group retreat weekend. Can't wait!!
That sunset, though!! 😍😎😲

Hope you are able to work in some crafty time this week and thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Falling for You"

We don't take professional family photos every year, but when we do, it's typically in the fall. A few years ago we did a family shoot in a nearby park. Our photographer has the patience of Job!
This layout features our grandson who was two at the time. Considering his age, I think our photographer got some great shots of our little man.
The lined patterned paper was a nice backdrop for all of the color pictures. I rarely use plain cardstock. I'm so obsessed with patterned paper. The little banner is one that I purchased. It added a bit of a whimsical look to the layout.
There are nine pictures on this layout and still some rom for embellishments and journaling. I like the way it turned out. I'm in love with antlers, especially on a masculine page for our handsome grandson.

You'll have to come back and check out all the other layouts I created from this photo shoot. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Happy Birthday"

Wow...I sure have been holding out on all of the birthday layouts. Here's a layout of my grandson's 3rd birthday.
Lots of pictures, but also a little bit of white space. I love all of the colorful stars.
This little dude makes my heart smile. He is a sweet boy and doesn't like to disappoint, but he can be ornery! And the energy level....Wish he could share that with his Grandma!
My son's fiance (now wife) asked my daughter-in-love to be one of her Bridesmaids during the party. Of course, this was a highlight of the day! I love them both, and we feel blessed that our son's have found the love of their lives. We've watched with joy as our boys have grown up and turned into amazing husbands!
Super simple layout, but the stars and the title set it off for me. Hope you find some inspiration and have a scrappy week!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Chill Out"

Here's another summer time layout to share. There's nothing like a pool to cool down and relax when the temperatures soar.
These pictures are from a weekend in Michigan with our kids, grandkids, and my husband's siblings. I'm so happy we make time to stay close.
Sorry for the discoloration on this pic. Not sure what happened here!
Nothing like a little cornhole and cake to make the day extra special. I can't believe this was almost 3 years ago already. I'm less than a year behind in scrapping my pics, but apparently I'm 2-3 years behind in posting them here. Blogging takes time....
Love our family time together. Scrapbooking these photos is my way of reliving all the memories and fun that we have together.
