Brithday - One Page Scrapbook Layout

I'm working on doing a better job of showing up in some of the photos that I scrapbook. The bright side is I can just scrap the ones that I like. But if I never hand anybody else the camera, there won't be any documentation of my milestones in life. I'm grateful that my husband and family think about this.

I recently celebrated yet another birthday, but this layout is from September, 2018. I'm thankful for every birthday the good Lord sends my way. I'm grateful for strength and overall health, and for a beautiful, loving family to celebrate with.
Not sure why I didn't put a title on here, but it would definitely be "Older and Wiser". None of us are even close to perfect, but we are all on our way, and God hasn't given up on us, in spite of our daily missing the mark.

I don't remember the paper that I used, but the vintage look and numbers are very fitting considering I'm kind of a vintage girl! I love owls, and like the way these two black owls set off my black shirt. I added a few mini flowers (SU punch), a tag with the date, washi tape, chevron arrow from my stash, and Cricut journaling.

Hope this inspires you in some way!! Thanks for stopping by!

Hippity Hop - Two Page Easter Scrapbook Layout

Happy Easter to all of you! What a glorious day of celebration! I missed our church family, but celebrated "in spirit" participating in the live stream service.

I have another Easter layout to share with you today! These pictures feature our grand babies with their Easter baskets in 2018.
I was so giddy when I found the image of the chocolate bunny with a bite taken out of his ear! I had to use it on this page. Isn't it cute??
These two are just the cutest! I can't believe how much they've grown and changed over the past two years. They are the sweetest! I think the paper choices, while bold, are a little more toned down than the previous post! The pink strip of paper across the middle helps to calm it down, along with the muted vintage floral paper along the bottom. I added real lace trim as an accent under the pictures. The StampinUp! mini flower punch and mini pink brads for the WIN. I scattered these across the page to highlight the pictures.
I may post a few more Easter pages this week, because I still have several I haven't shared.

I pray that your resurrection day is blessed beyond measure! Thanks for stopping by today.

Bouquet Toss - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Layout

We're getting down to the last few wedding layouts from my son and daughter-in-love's wedding album. I hope you are finding some inspiration in these multi-picture, double layouts.
I just love the look on her face as she's getting ready for the big toss. So cute!!
I didn't add a lot of embellishment to this page, but hopefully just enough to bring out the pictures, sentiments, and memories of their big day.  Since this page was all about the single ladies, I added a doilie and some mini punched flowers to go along with the pink matted pictures. The larger layer of the bottom flower was cut from a scrap of patterned paper that I had in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great rest of the week!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "70 Years Young"

I'm blessed to have two sister-in-laws that are like sisters to me. I have a brother of my own, but no sisters.
This beautiful SIL of mine turned 70 years old last year. She looks and acts so much younger than that. Age is truly just a number.
My family is by far my biggest blessing! They make me laugh (non-stop), and give me a sense of belonging and purpose that I would struggle to have otherwise!
This page was pretty simple once I figured out the best way to layer the photos to get them all on the page. Washi tape on the corners, punched journaling banner tags and flowers...easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Hope you are staying warm and hunkered down with the ones you love!

Two Pager Layout - "Go Fight Win"

Well it just doesn't get any cuter than this! My granddaughter participated in a cheer clinic at school. Of course, we went to cheer on the tiny cheerleaders. What a hoot!
She seems so much bigger now! I think her legs have sprouted quite a bit! She was one of the smallest ones for this clinic back in October 2017. She is the 3rd girl from the right in the picture above.
She was so happy to have her whole family there to support and cheer her on. She kept looking for us all and waving! 😻
Even though this is technically a sports page, I made it feminine with some florals and I love the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Hope you are having a crafty weekend or at least enjoying some down time!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "All Girl"

Here's another layout from our grandchildren's photo shoot a few years back. This one features, Miss Scarlet.
She was having so much fun and I think she forgot she was posing.
This little girl melts my heart. I try not to let her wrap me around her little finger, but it's so hard!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Tomorrow I'll post another one with the same pics, different paper. One is for her book and one for ours.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Queen for a Day"

This is my beautiful daughter-in-love. She is the glue that holds her sweet family together, including my oldest son and grand babies. She is a beauty, inside and out!
She shares her birthday month with her two children and usually Mother's Day. She doesn't get all the recognition that she should receive. She's a stay at home Mom and I'm so thankful that my grand babies have their Mom at home with them. It's a huge sacrifice financially and I'm sure she feels like the walls are coming in on her sometimes.
We are so blessed to be able to call her our daughter, especially since we didn't raise our own daughter. I hope that she will also call us Mom and Dad some day. ♥
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
