"Birthday Girl" - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Wow! I don't know how time is flying so fast! Indiana is on a Stay at Home order and I've been working my full time job from home for over a month now. We don't go out unless necessary to pick up supplies, occasional fast food pickup, or even more rare drive to work to handle something I can't do at home.

Thankfully, I do love being in my home. But, I am ready for things to start moving towards "normal" again!! I know I'm not alone on that feeling. I miss my family, friends and coworkers.

We're all tired of hearing and reading about the virus, so I will move on to something more fun like sharing a scrapbook page! Today, I have another birthday page. This is my youngest daughter-in-love. She's a keeper and we are proud to have her in our family!
She's not a huge fan of being in the spotlight, but she puts up my need to celebrate all things birthday!! I believe this paper is from Glitz design, including the green strip with black owns. I believe that was the edge of the 12x12 paper. I love owls!!
Every time I see pictures taken in our Dining Room, I really want to get our ship lap project started. The wall is not very flattering to those sitting in front of it. Although, when this was taken, it probably had more to do with my old cell phone camera. In spite of the dreary background, she is a beauty and we so enjoy having her in our family.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope your week is starting out great!

Happy Birthday - One Page Scrapbook Layout

This is our beautiful daughter-in-love on her birthday last year. We are so very happy to have her as part of our family. Our sons have both done well choosing their forever love.
She is such a great wife to my son, Momma to our grandkids, daughter, daughter-in-love,  friend and many other roles that she wears so well. She is much stronger than she thinks she is and takes each new day in stride! She is primarily a Stay At Home Mom and I have so much respect for that role. She is adored by her family...and all of us!

Today is her special day and I hope it is the BEST year yet for her!!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "All Girl"

Here's another layout from our grandchildren's photo shoot a few years back. This one features, Miss Scarlet.
She was having so much fun and I think she forgot she was posing.
This little girl melts my heart. I try not to let her wrap me around her little finger, but it's so hard!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Tomorrow I'll post another one with the same pics, different paper. One is for her book and one for ours.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Birthday Princess"

Wow...It seems like I've been posting a lot of birthday picture layouts. I've been savings these up for a few years.
This was two years back when we bought her the giant red headed princess doll. She loved it as you can see. Happy 4th birthday sweet Scarlet!
I love that the doll was almost the same size as my grand daughter! As you can see from the pics, this little girl of ours loves life and lives it loud and proud! We wouldn't have it any other way!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Come back soon!

Two Page Layout - "Birthday Bash"

Birthdays roll around quickly. They're an ever-present reminder that we are getting older and that time is flying away almost controllably. But, I'm learning to just "go with it". My sweet grandbabies make that so much easier. :) There's no stopping the years from rolling by, so we might as well embrace the here and now, and yes, even the uncertainties of the future.

The flowers and banner and striped paper are StampinUp!, along with the Washi tape. The circle garland is from Studio Calico. The title is from the Birthday Bash cartridge, of course.

I failed to write down which Cricut cartridge I used for the cute flower outlines which I doubled up with a button center. I like how wispy it looks.

And...these cute faces!!!! I love them so much. These pictures were from my birthday 2014 dinner at Bandidos restaurant. Seriously, I think I should have been the one riding the bull.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Embrace each moment and be hopeful for the future.

Two birthday girl layouts - "One of a Kind" and "1st Birthday Bash"

Our first grandchild is two years old today! I can't believe how fast time flies. Last year at this time, we were doing the big first birthday bash complete with first ever cake smash! Now she has a baby brother. We are so tickled to be grandparents. It's a great time of life!!
This layout features her one year pictures. Her parents did such a beautiful job taking these photos. Too cute!! The patterned paper is Pink Paislee's Endless Love collection. It's probably meant for Valentine's pictures, but I thought it was perfect for this precious little lady.
I added a paper doily as a journaling tag to repeat the printed doilies on the left side of the layout. The pink ticket washi tape, and white ball fringe were sweet embellishments to highlight these photos of our sweet baby girl.
The second layout features the pictures taken at her first birthday party and cake smash. She had so much fun opening gifts and eating cake for the first time.
The smile on her face says it all..."Pink frosting, where have you been all my life?"
I added a few scalloped white frames as accents, and of course the zebra paper to echo her birthday girl outfit.
I was able to work twelve photographs into this layout making using of several wallets and 4x4's. Can't wait to start scrapping our new grandson! What a joy! This Grandma will never run out of cuteness to scrap, that is for sure!
