Easter Eggs - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Happy Easter Sunday to you all. Today I'm sharing another Easter layout from 2019.

This title has quite a few layers, but it was really fun to do! I typically pick out a bunch of scrap paper from my stash for this type of thing. I love the way it turned out.
I used a nice mix of springy patterned paper to go vertically across my pages from Echo Park "Sweet Girl" line including the journaling card.
I love coloring eggs with the grandkids. I love to see their creativity and their excitement. Even the big kids still seem to enjoy it. I also love eating the eggs!!
The small flowers on the right were cut with my Cricut and topped with StampinUp buttons.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. We are celebrating Christ's resurrection from the dead! Such HOPE and LOVE that he offers to us if we only accept his incredible gift of salvation!!

Come back next week when I will be sharing the final layouts from my Hawaii album.

Happy Easter - Two Page Scrapbook Layout

Hope you made it through your Easter quarantine with a smile on your face. I will admit, it was a struggle for me. We are so used to hosting dinners for our grown kids. I miss seeing their faces around my table. We have seen each other, but it's definitely not been the same. But Easter isn't about family, going to our church building, traditions, or a special dinner. It's really about what Jesus did on the cross for us! I tried to keep that in my focus.
These pictures are from our first Easter celebration at our new house!! Love having a little more space for everybody. Coloring eggs is something we try to do together each year...Something we didn't get to do together this year.
There is really not much to this simple layout. I love to mix patterned paper, so that part was a no-brainer. All of these embellishments came with this pretty spring stack of paper. The title was cut from Design Space.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. More layouts from Easters' past to share this week.

Egg Masters - Two Page Easter Layout

We went to the most wonderful Good Friday service this morning. Believe it or not, it was a drive in style service at my place of employment! Great music and an absolutely wonderful message given by one of our employees. There was lots of whooping and honking when it was over. What a great way to start our day, focused on how Christ loved us so much that he gave his life for each of us! There were some dark days before he rose from the dead! But, now we can rejoice knowing that Easter is coming!!

Here's an Easter layout from 2017. This is my son and daughter-in-law coloring eggs in the kitchen at our old house.
These two get super creative with their egg decorating. It's fun to watch them. I got a little creative with my paper choices for this page!! There is a lot going on here...lol. As I look back at this, I might have changed a few things, but that's okay. I'm not going to change it. It's done and the memory is preserved. The mission was still accomplished.
I love the two little scalloped flower clips on the title. It doesn't lay very flat in the album, but it will continue to flatten out over the years.😆 The red rick-rack is like masking tape and is so quick and easy to put down on a page. It's very forgiving and pulls up easy if you need to adjust it.
I hope that you have a very meaningful Good Friday, even though you may not be able to celebrate the way you have in the past. It will be different, but I know that God is working all things for our good and His glory. Stay strong and stay safe! If you have a chance come back for another Easter post on Sunday.

Two page Layout - "Hoppy Easter"

Spring is definitely arriving in northeastern Indiana! We're all so ready! To celebrate, I'm going to take a short break from posting my Israel layouts and share a little Easter.

These pictures are from coloring eggs a few years back. We're trying to form some strong traditions with our kids and grandkids and coloring eggs is one of them. Even my full grown boys and their wives seem to enjoy it. If you're trying to start traditions with your busy families, my suggestion is to get it on the calendar as soon as possible, so everybody can be there to enjoy it. Speaking of that, I need to get it on the family calendar for this year!
The grandkids are starting to enjoy doing these things together as a family too! I love that we're making memories that they will hold onto long after PawPaw and I are gone. I hope they will also enjoy looking back through all of my scrapbooks and keeping the pages that are special to them.
I love this because it shows all of the silliness that we share as a family too. Between my boys and their wives playing the part of "creepy" Easter bunny, and the occasional splashing of the colored egg dye, and the other chaos that ensues, it's always a great time together! Everybody gets to take home the eggs they made to eat them throughout the week.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope you are beginning to see spring break through in your area too! Soon the trees will begin to blossom. The hope of Easter is right around the corner!!
