Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Just Chillin"

Some of our best times are just hanging out for our designated family night, which is usually Sunday evening. We share something yummy for dinner and then hang out together and play with the kiddos.
We take turns going to my oldest son's home or having everybody under our tiny roof. I think these pictures are from a few different occasions January/February 2015. Why didn't I date it??
The paper is from Simple Stories "Snow Fun". The font and snowflakes are from Cricut's Art Philosophy, along with some stickers from Simple Stories. I love the white American Craft ball fringe and rhinestones to accent the snowflakes.
I love these crazy people we call family!! It's such a blessing to realize that my husband and I expanded our family with our two boys, and now they've both chosen that special lady in their life, and we also have two grandchildren. The two of us have become eight! I just can't wait to see what the future holds for these precious little ones!!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Priceless"

Fun with the grandbabies! I used to do this with my sons, so it was fun to pull a chair up to the sink and let the grandkids enjoy splashing around.
Any one-on-one time with these two cuties is a precious time of making memories. I wish I had more memories of times like this with my own grandparents back in the day.
I'm not sure what the discussion was with PawPaw here, but I know it must have been precious. What a joy to watch my dear husband first become a wonderful Daddy, and now a precious PawPaw to these two!
I didn't make any notes on this layout about the materials I used, but I remember crumpling up the red side banners before attaching them just to give it a little more texture. I used my SU punch for the mini flowers and then layered them up with mini brads. The journaling tag was cut with Art Philosophy and the title (Priceless) is from Graphically Speaking.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Live a Little"

When I look at these photos of my grandkids, I'm reminded of just how far behind I am in posting my layouts! I try to give myself some grace. I'm a Grandma, working full time outside the house, with a wonderful hubby to look after, and my youngest son is living at home. Time to cut myself some slack...It's not like I'm getting paid to blog, but I really do enjoy it.
This cheery little layout features our sweet little grandbabies who aren't nearly as little anymore.
The paper is mostly from Stampin Up. I had the banner in my stash and it was a nice addition to the corner of my layout. The title "Live a Little" is from Cricut's "Graphically Speaking".

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and not giving up on me when the posts are few and far between.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "This is Life"

I'm sharing another layout from a few years back featuring candid photos of an extended family get together. We had such a great time!! It's especially fun to see the littles play together!
The paper is Cloud 9 with washi from MakingMemories "Boy Crazy" and ribbon from American Crafts.
I punched a bunch of different circles from scraps and used them as a super simple embellishment. I like the way they looked with the "This is Life" title from Cricut's Graphically Speaking. Can I just say it again...I LOVE this cartridge, and use it all the time for titles! The journaling card is from Doodlebug.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Have a happy scrappy weekend!

Double Scrapbook Layout - "Let's Play"

Oh my....they grow so fast! This is my darling granddaughter, two years ago. We get together with my son as a family every Sunday. Every once in awhile, even though nothing spectacular is happening, I'll pull out my camera. I should try to capture these every day moments more often.
This lovely lime chevron paper is from Bo Bunny "Lemonade Stand". The felt flowers are from StampinUp!, and the lace is from Paper Studio.
I punched a few scalloped circles (SU) and clipped inward as the bottom layer of the flower embellishments. The washi is from Studio G.
I still can't get over that this is two years ago! Maybe I'll get caught up some day, but what fun would that be?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a great rest of the week.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Priceless"

I'm taking a little break from the California Dreamin layouts to show off our adorable grandbabies. :) These two are too much fun! They keep us young! We love them so much.
We are so grateful to be near both of our kids and our grandkids! What a blessing to be part of their every day lives. These photos were taken during one of the many times where we watched them for awhile to give their Mom and Dad a well deserved date night. Not sure how we got started with playing in the kitchen sink water, but that was great fun! I remember my youngest loving to do this too.
Sawyer was getting into the action too, splashing around like his sister.
What great memories from that day. We tried out the tricycle and took a walk around the block with the wagon. It was only March, so it was still a little chilly.
I didn't write down the supplies, but I know the red chevron is washi tape and the cute little flowers are punched with SU triple flower punch. The red banner strip was folded by hand in a random fashion to give it some extra texture. The journaling tag is Art Philosophy and the title die cut is Graphically Speaking (priceless).

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. The next post will be our first stop on the Pacific Coat Hwy (Big Sur) at Carmel by the Sea. See you soon!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Oh Baby"

Here's another (older) layout of us just hanging out with the grandkids. I need to remember to keep pulling out the camera when we're just doing every day things.

The top picture is my granddaughter looking at a slot book that we gave our son (her Daddy) for his 2nd birthday!! How fun is that? She loves this book, and so did her Daddy.

Sawyer is just hanging out being cute...and drooling like crazy.

The paper is KC & Company and most of the embellishments are from Glitz Design. The journaling card is Doodlebug Design. I love the alphabet paper. It was a scrap that I had in my stash. It's fun using my scraps whenever possible, but I use them for card making than scrapbooking.
