A Royal Arrival - Two Page Hawaii Layout

I'm ready for some super sunshiny warm weather. How about you? I think it's time to share some of my Hawaii layouts from our amazing trip last year. It was part work trip, part vaca for us and 100% amazing!  Let's start at the beginning with our arrival!!
One of the perks of my job is to help plan our agent incentive trips. What an amazing blessing this has been for us. Especially Hawaii! We were there 10 years ago, so were super excited to go again.

We had quite a delay in our home town airport, so by the time we arrived in Honolulu it was after 10:30 pm Hawaii time. But because our travel partners are so good to me, they still had their car ready to transfer us to the hotel...the Royal Hawaiian (aka Pink Palace). What a beautiful place!! Unfortunately, you can tell how tired we were from the pictures. Tired, but super excited!!
We received beautiful leis, chocolate covered strawberries, and beverage cups. Aren't those strawberries almost too cute to eat?
I think this gorgeous patterned paper was perfect for the photos. I matted the photos on black, added a row of pink decorative tape, and cut leaf outlines to tuck in behind some of the pictures. The leaf outline echos the leaves in the patterned paper. Of course, after I was finished with the layout, I decided to add the little pink crown to the title. You can see it better in the top picture. I thought it was appropriate since we felt like King and Queen! I added a little spark with some Wink of Stella.
I hope you come back as I share more of our amazing adventures. We're just getting started. 😎

"The Girls" - Two Page Wedding Scrapbook Page

Here's another layout from my son and DIL's wedding album which I recently completed. This layout is of the girls getting ready before the wedding. They were having so much fun together.
I love all the pictures and it was so hard to decide! Thankfully, I was able to work all of these onto one layout without it detracting from the design. I used gold foil for the crown and the photo corners. It was so exciting to find the white sparkly bow in my stash! The journaling was done on my Cricut machine. Throughout the album, I used some of my own handwriting too. Cricut writes WAY better than I do!
Her braids were so pretty! Beautiful young ladies, beautiful smiles, beautiful dresses and so much anticipation!
I was able to get 9 photos on here including the 2 wallets and I still had room for some decorative tape and a little bit of bling. Thanks for stopping by today! Lots more wedding pages to share soon!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Happy Birthday - Game On"

Here's another layout of my boys' birthday celebration in 2017. As I mentioned yesterday in my post, they share a birthday and its TODAY!! My husband and I are planning to have a lunch with our birthday boys today, and then celebrate with dinner out, cake, ice cream, and gifts on Sunday when we normally get together as a family. I can't wait!!
We all love a good game of corn hole. I'm not very good at it, but I like to play anyway, if anybody will allow me to be their partner. 😕 This celebration took place at my youngest son and daughter-in-love's home. It was fun to celebrate there, in their newly purchased home.
This is kind of a strange blend of patterned paper, but I think it works okay. This is one of those layouts that I look back at the design of it and think maybe I should have done it differently. But anyway....my favorite people are in it, and that's what matters most to me.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and say a big happy birthday to my boys from wherever you are!! They are such a special blessing!!

Two page srapbook layout - "Queen Bee"

So many layouts and so little time to post. It's definitely time for another Scarlet Rose layout.

This little darling is our favorite little sweetheart and it's hard to make myself put her pictures aside and scrap other people and events. Surely everybody can understand my dilemma, especially if you are a Grandma like me. =)

What a cutie pie! I was thrilled to find this title from Cricut's "Kate's ABC's" cartridge. I need to own this. A big thank you to my BSBFF for sharing hers with me! The title and bees that I cut, totally made the page.
The paper is from a page layout kit that I found on sale at Meijers. I used my new StampinUp! honeycome texture folder on vellum for some interest in the corners. I rubbed a little ink on it so the texture would show, then cut around the hexagons.

The cute little button came from the same kit.
A few little rhinestones on the point of each crown totally finished it off.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I appreciate you all. Stay cool....
