Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Take a Bow"

My son is a music major from Ball State University. Thankfully, he was only about an hour away from home, so we were able to go down for almost every performance! We actually miss making those trips and stepping into his college world for a few hours.
He participated in their men's choir and an a Capella men's group. This particular day was a special treat, because we were able to enjoy performances by both groups. These were his last performances before graduating in December 2015. Each group honored him publicly as a special send off!! Proud parent moment!!
The title, sub title and notes are Cricut's Quarter Note cartridge. I've used this cartridge so often with all of his musical involvement. I love the mustache washi tape...also perfect for him...he adores his facial hair...lol!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Come back soon.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Singing in the Season"

My son graduated from Ball State University in December 2015 and we're so very proud of him! We had the privilege of attending many wonderful concerts and musical events during his college career.
He was in two different choirs as well as an a Capella group. We also attended a Straight No Chaser concert with him on campus. Have you heard of them?
This young man of ours is now singing with another a Capella group called Smooth Edge 2 here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Lets just say that music is his thing!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have a bunch of Christmas layouts to share this month, so stop back soon!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "A Cappella"

As I've mentioned before, my youngest son just graduated from Ball State University. He loved all of his 4.5 years there and definitely made the most of every opportunity. Music is his passion, so when he heard about the a cappella group Note to Self, he tried out and made it in.

My son and several others in the group helped the university to form an association of several groups. Three of these a cappella groups were invited to the Midwest Regionals in Chicago, so we decided to go and enjoy the fun! Note to Self is the top left (men in purple) photo. They did so great, but didn't win. Ironically, they placed first in 2016, after his graduation.
The paper is all from Glitz Design, along with many of the embellishments. Annnnd....my son just informed me that I spelled a cappella wrong in the title....Ugh! Guess I'll have to fix that.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Two page scrapbook layout - "Chirp Chirp"

My son just graduated from BSU!

He's a music major with a Music Media Production degree. He sang in most of the choral groups including an a cappella group. He was also a Resident Assistant for a time.

In addition, he enjoyed being one of the mascots for his entire college career. It's safe to say this young man made the most of his college education by being involved in so many ways.

We're super proud of him, in case that fact needs clarification. :)
