One Page Scrapbook Layout - "End of the Road"

Last layout of our trip!! Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Eventually, you hit your vacation budget, use all of your paid time off work, and have to come home. 😢 It was an awesome anniversary celebration!

Key West is at the southernmost part of the U.S. where Hwy 1 comes to an end. These pics are taken near the iconic landmark at the southernmost point which is 90 miles from Cuba.
The paper is Kaisercraft "Sea Breeze" and Simple Stories wood chevron for the banner arrow that anchors the pictures. I used a couple of different kinds of ribbon down the center and added a little date tag with a touch of ribbon to accentuate the one picture. At the last minute, I added a little slip of ribbon at the top and simply folded it over and topped it with a wood button.  Hope you like this last page of our anniversary trip! If you want to see the rest of the Key West layouts, got to the bottom of this post and type Key West in the search bar. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

One Page Scrapbook Layout - "Taking Flight"

While celebrating our 30th anniversary in Key West, we visited the butterfly house. I've never seen so many butterflies in one place at one time. It was amazing.
I should have taken some close ups of this page so that you could see the glimmer of Wink of Stella on the black butterflies and the title (both cut with my Cricut).  I didn't write down anything about the supplies used here. The paper was in my stack for a long, long time, and these photos were perfect for it. The journaling square and the dragonflies and flora at the bottom are all printed on the paper. I couldn't bare to cover them up, but the wallet size pics fit pefect.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have one more Key West layout to share in a few days.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Mallory Square"

Are you longing for some warmth and a beautiful sunset? Maybe this will help. Just looking at the colors in this layout brightens my dreary day.
Key West was the destination for our 30th anniversary trip December, 2015. We had such a great time and are so blessed to be able to take time away together. Mallory Square is the spot where Key West tourists and locals go to watch the sunset. They have a nice shopping area, ice cream, street performers, and people watching. Our hotel was quite close. It's also where the cruise ships dock. We got some awesome fresh guacamole from one of the \vendors in the square. They made it right in front of us...Oh man...It was great, and I'm not a big fan of guac!
I have no idea the brand of this lovely paper. I typically make notes on the back of the supplies I've used on the layouts, but alas, I forgot on to do so here.
I used the StampinUp bitty banner punch for the banner along the bottom, and freehanded the two longer banners, and topped them with a brad.
Hope you can feel the warmth of the sun and the colors on this layout. It's pretty cold and dreary here in Indiana. It's actually been raining. Normally we have snow and ice in January, but I'm not going to complain. Thanks for stopping by! Now I want guacamole!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Home Tour"

Time to share another Key West 30th anniversary layout!
If you ever go to Key West, the Hemingway House is definitely worth your time. We enjoyed checking out the architecture, simple furnishings and décor. However; the six toed cats were our favorite!! They're everywhere. They are very well cared for and quite friendly.
I framed my title with an arched window and open arched shutters cut from Cricut's Art Philosohy  to look like the windows on the house. How boring would the title have been without the window? 😏 The patterned paper is StampinUp with ribbon from Paper Studio, and green chevron washi from Queen & Co. The StampinUp five point flower punch and bitty scalloped circle punch worked great for the flowers, topped with buttons.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! See you soon.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Pier House"

Here's a layout of the beautiful hotel where we stayed in Key West! It was an amazing room and property. We really weren't ready to come home after being spoiled!!
This pretty paper is from Close to My Heart's (My Reflections) "Skylark". The letter stickers on the subtitle are from October Afternoon. Many of the embellishments were printed right on the paper, so I simply added a few strips of paper, some burlap flowers with button centers, and the subtitle. Easey Peasey!
If you ever need a place to stay in Key West, you'll have to check out the Pier House. They're right on the water. Even though we didn't have a water view from our room we had the most beautiful balcony. We spent a lot of time out there with our coffee in the morning, and playing cards together at night.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Hope 2017 is off to a great start for you.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Hightway 1"

Today, I'm sharing some a layouts from our 30th anniversary trip to Key West (December 2015)! We had a great time together in a really beautiful location.
We flew into Miami, rented a vehicle and drove down through the keys. These pictures are from the beautiful spots we saw along our adventure.
The paper is Bazill cardstock and the Abroad Collection from Studio Calico. The title is from Cricut's Graphically Speaking, Hwy sign is from Going Places, and the number from Nate's ABC's. I layered it up with some banners made from scraps of the map paper and topped it with a SU dot.
My 2" circle punches (StampinUp!) worked great with the circle maps on the paper.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! More layouts to come this week.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Merry & Bright"

Last December, my husband and I celebrated 30 years of marriage in Key West, FL! What a great trip! These pictures were taken on our anniversary. We went out to dinner and then drove around looking at the Christmas lights in town. The pictures we took turned into kind of a tropical Christmas/anniversary page.
I love the wood-grain paper from Heidi Swapp's Christmas stack. The mini lights across the top of it set the stage for the design.
The palm tree was cut with my Cricut. I forgot to make a note of the cartridge, but I had fun decking it out for Christmas.
The picture of us is not the best, but it still captures the memories. I'm not sure why I wasn't smiling more...I really am happy. LOL!
Sometimes it's tough to choose photos, so I print them in wallets in order to use as many as possible. There are 11 pictures here, and still room for some fun embellies.

I have several layouts from our KeyWest anniversary trip which I plan to share after the New Year. Stop back for some warm and sunny layouts.
