Cheeseburger in Paradise
Here's a fun layout to inspire you. I used a lovely sketch from Pagemaps.com to get me started. I actually paper-pieced the cheeseburger. I had a pattern, but it would have ended up much smaller, so I decided to just wing it and cut it all by hand in the size I wanted. I then used adhesive foam to make it 3D. I acutally cut out sesamee seeds too. Seriously...What is wrong with me? Then I used distressing ink to just make the colors blend a little more.
I added some Hawaiian words and pictures to give the tone-on-tone look to the background. Most of these were cut with my Cricut from the Life is a Beach cartridge. The background somewhat mimics the look of the patterned paper in the circle.
This was a fun page to do. Stop back soon as I will be adding some of the last Hawaii layouts. My Hawaii album is done and it's bursting out of the album. LOL! I'll be sharing some more in the days ahead!
Have a lovely Sunday evening!

Hi Julie~I have been catching up on blogging & saw your comment on mine re: the tip. I sure hope it helps with your stamping.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your last few layouts have been so NICE! Great job. Look forward to seeing what other things you share with us all.
Blessings,
