Family of the Groom - Two Page Wedding Layout

Merry Christmas Eve to you all! I'm continuing to post my son and daughter-in-love's wedding album layouts. They are such a beautiful pair and we are so happy they each found each other!
Here we all are, trying to look cute for our pre-ceremony family photos. I look back and think why did I buy this dress? Oh well, it is what it is and I'm my own worst critic. Everybody else is lovely, though and oh so photogenic.
For this layout I used a mix of wood grain paper and a petite floral. After all, they are wedding photos. The beard, mustache, and tie are quite fun to put with the floral! A little bit of washi tape along the edges of the floral, again, make it a little more manly.
I adore the picture of our grandbabies smooching on their Uncle Jacob! What could be cuter!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope you are enjoying the wedding album!! It was so fun for me to put together for them.

Two Pasge Scrapbook Layout - "War Torn"

Time to post another layout from our Israel trip in 2017.

We took a jeep tour up into the Golan Heights area. The country was very beautiful, even though it was a bit sun-scorched and barren. Of course, it was very hot. They don't get very much rain there, so everything just looks extremely dry.
We drove along the green line of cease fire, just inside the border. When we got to the top, you could see for miles, including where Israel, Syria, and Jordan borders meet. We could hear shells exploding in the distance! One of our other groups taking this tour on a different date was told not to stand too close to the edge of the mountain as they were in range! A little scary to think about, but incredible that this is every day reality for the military in Israel. As you can see in the far left wallet sized picture, we were able to meet some Israeli soldiers at one of the military posts. They looked so incredibly young!
I used some travel washi showing the world, alpha stickers for the sub title, many banners from scraps I had in my stash, and a few brads to secure the banners. Hope you are inspired!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Beards Rule"

This is one of my favorite layouts of all time. Trust me, I don't like all of my layouts...

My youngest really enjoys having a beard. I decided to go through his social media pics and pull out some of the best pics and do a beard layout. Beards are kind of a thing right now.

His friends had compared one of his profile pics to Ryan Gosling! My son also did some selfie then/now comparisons. One of my favorites is the one he took of himself at the eye doctor!
I used grungy, colorful patterned paper for the title, and matching washi tape along both sides to frame the pics.
He also enjoyed decorating his beard for the season or just because he was bored. Love the toothpicks, Q-tips, and Christmas ornaments! What a hoot! I used wallet size pics on the layout, so I was able to cram in 13 pics. I had to have them all!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have an inspired day!
