Pint & Slice - Two Page Birthday Scrapbook Layout

Today, I'm sharing an older birthday layout of my two boys. They are "lucky" enough to share a birthday with each other. ๐Ÿ˜†Their birthday was in August and they are getting so old. I'm not sure how that is happening, when I'm still the same. This is actually from 5 years ago! I'm not sure how I forgot to post this one until now.

Downtown Fort Wayne is a fun place to go. The murals on the buildings make it lively and add to the vibe. The kids love it probably more than we do, because they're more "hip" than we are. ✌ The pizza here is so yummy!! We were blessed with a beautiful day to hang out.

Oh my goodness! Look at my grandbabies! How are they getting so big now. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
I cut the circle banner to look like the lanterns that hang across the outdoor eating area. The ampersand for the title, pizza flag and "I love you more than pizza." embellishment at the bottom were cut with my Cricut. The small alpha letter stickers made it easier than cutting letters that tiny.
Thanks for looking! I plan to get back into the groove of posting. Let's see if I can make that happen!! I've been a slacker at blogging lately, but I have so many more layouts to share with you.

Have a great week!

More Birthday Scrapbook Layouts

So many birthdays!! I try to tell myself that age is just a number. I'm truly blessed and loving all the life that I'm given. Here's a layout from my birthday a few years back. I don't normally scrap my own day because I'm normally behind the camera...just the way I like it. :)

We usually go to Banditos (local mexican restaurant) because it's free to eat on your big day!
I think my youngest son must have still been at college that year. This is my oldest son, beautiful wife, and adorable kiddos.
I love this crazy family of mine. They are my heart!

And...my sweet hubby's birthday. I'm not even sure if these are all from the same year, but it doesn't really matter.
I made him Key Lime pie in memory of our recent trip to Key West for our anniversary.
This man blesses me every day with his love! I totally got the best guy! Sorry for the rest of you.

And one more...Here's a birthday layout of my two boys who are now grown men. These two...oh boy! So many stories and laughs together. I should explain that they both share the exact same day for their birthday. I'm tricky like that, I guess. They don't always appreciate the uniqueness of sharing a birthday, but I think it's wonderul...lol!
We drove down to spend the evening with our youngest at Ball State and his precious girlfriend (now wife). It's always a party with this bunch. ๐Ÿ’—
This seems like it was forever ago. So many changes since then, but all of these great memories still come flooding back.

Thanks for looking at all the birthday layouts. Oh...there's a bunch more, but they'll have to wait for another day.  Thanks for stopping by my blog!!

Double layout "Dream Rides"

Hello! Have you seen the great contest over at Page Maps blog? Check out all of those sweet embellishments we can win!!! I decided to do a layout based on the sketch and give it a try.

Here's the sketch they provided.

I made mine into a 2 page layout...that's just how I roll.
The pics are from the Detroit Auto Show that my guys try to get to each year. This year they met up with family and had a great time dreaming about their next car!! Yea....well they're probably never going to own one of these, but it's free to dream, right?

My favorite display from the pics they took is the cool green car in the center here which they displayed on an orange track like a HotWheels car...Pretty cool!!

Here are some closeups of the diecuts and embellishments, including my cute little flag. I freehanded it, and think it turned out pretty cute. I popped up the center to give it some life. The sketch used a file tab as a matt behind the main pictures, so I cut this one with my Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and used metallic dots on each side of the tab.

I topped the smaller star with a circle and cut in at an angle towards the center all the way around to give it a spiral lok and added another metallic dot in the center. Like the sketch, I tucked my journaling tag behind one of the photos so as not to detract from the pictures.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!! Have a marvelous week and I hope you are able to work in some time to do what you love. =)
