Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "The Perfect Pair"

Last March, my youngest son asked the love of his life to marry him! 😻  He planned to propose in the middle of a photo shoot they had scheduled for themselves as a couple.

These photos were taken prior to the proposal in a coffee shop. I love how they turned out!
They're obviously smitten with each other. They're also good for each other. Each of them is a better person because of the other. A match made only in heaven. The girl we prayed for him to find since he was a little boy. We are blessed that both of our boys have found the one true love who completes them.
I don't remember where I got this paper, but it was quite perfect for engagement photos, don't you think? I added a little metallic washi tape and cut a few large diamonds with my Cricut.
These two are now happily married and I'm working on a wedding album for them. More to come on that project. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

two page scrapbook layout - "Celebrate Love"

Here's a fun layout from the night my son and daughter-in-love got engaged. They're pretty cute!!!
My son bought them a photo shoot for Christmas, and then planned out the entire proposal with the photographer. We weren't a part of all of that, but we met them later for dinner with both families.
These two make a great pair and we're so excited that they found each other!
It's impossible to see the sheen here, but I used Wink of Stella on the heart banner to set it off. The photo just made it look muddy.
I probably should have added another wallet size photo to the right, or some additional journaling. I'm trying to make peace with the white space...lol.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I think I have some layouts from the actual photo shoot. I'm not sure I've photographed them yet, but I'll be sharing them here at some point.

"Cherish" double layout

Yes, I'm posting two days in a row...Aren't you proud of me? Here is a layout that I completed a few weeks back. These are more engagement pictures of my son and his fiance'. I love the way this page turned out!
Do you love the graph paper background as much as I do? I bought a whole pack of different graph, ledger type paper. The background is stamped with tan and green using the SU Medallion stamp. If you look at it closely you might also see some of the Medallions stamped in white.

The tissue flower was a "make and take" project from Archivers. Very easy and fun to make. I used a couple of different glitter mists on it. The viney branch was cut with my Cricut machine. If you want to know the cartridge, leave a comment and I'll find it for you.

I believe the layout sketch was from PageMaps. I love their sketches and use them frequently, but I always try to give them credit for their idea.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking at my blog. Would love to hear from you...just leave a comment or become a "follower".

"Adore...Love One Another"

Had lots of fun scrapping Friday night and all day Saturday. We had a good turn out of ladies and we always have fun together. Then on Sunday, my family made the trip to my parent's house for a visit. It is so hard to see their health and mental capacity deteriorate. But it was so good to spend a day chatting and loving on them. It was a very full weekend and I didn't get much done around the house. =( Oh well, there is always another day for cleaning and laundry.
Here's one of the layouts that I worked on this weekend...More of my son's engagement pictures for our family scrapbook.

The right side page (above) will be submitted for the sketch competition on the PageMaps blog. The prize is 50 sheets of Couture Cardstock. I LOVE paper! Thanks for looking.
Here's the left side of my layout which I used for another contest Ingeborg's Scrapbook Contests. These were fun to do. Thanks to my BSBFF, Jodi,, for "loaning" me the Vellum for the heart overlay.I "adore" the way it turned out! LOL! Thanks for checking out my blog.

Mini Album - gift for Cindy!

I did it! My son's fiance, Cindy, has her first bridal shower on Wednesday of this week. I had an all day scrap on Friday and I was able to get it all done. I did take a break for our Good Friday service. I really LOVE the way it turned out! I hope that you enjoy looking at it. If you have followed my blog for awhile some of the photos may look familiar, but they are scrapped into a brand new 8x8 album so the layouts are all new. They are all really simple, but it still took me the entire day and into the night! LOL! Ahem.....until 2am! I hope that she loves it as much as I do.
