Silent Night - Two Page winter scrapbook layout

Hello again! Yes, this is my second post this week. :) I'm on a roll.

These pictures were taken the evening of Christmas Day 2019. The back of our house looks so much better now. We now have beautiful Craftsman style posts with stone bases and some additional trim up in the peak. Much better than the crooked lumber holding it up in this photo.  The underside of the covered porch is still unfinished today (much to my dismay), but it will be finished some day!

I love the Kraft paper with Christmas wording, even though this was obviously NOT a white Christmas! I found the woodsy stick images including the title in Cricut Design Studio. It was all one image, but after cutting, I moved them around on my page to accent the photos.
I added a few strips of scrap Christmas paper and wrote out the journaling with my Cricut. I love that feature, since my handwriting is terrible....per everybody in the family, except my husband who has gotten pretty good at deciphering it after 37 years of marriage.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you find some inspiration for a crafty weekend!

Two Page Layout - "She Said Yes"

And...finally...here is the layout featuring my son popping the question and my daughter-in-love saying YES! I was so glad he was able to pull off this surprise and we were all able to enjoy the pictures from this very special occasion.
I sure wish my hubby of almost 33 years and I had such great photos to capture our engagement! Back then, Mom or Dad snapped a polaroid photo and that was it! Yes, I'm old!
Again, I love the muted and distressed patterned papers, and of course, the lovely deer head! I'm still obsessed with deer and antlers. It seemed appropriate for the page, right?
We are so thankful and blessed that both our boys have found their forever loves! It's so fun having girls in the family! I always wished I'd had a girl to raise, but having DIL's is pretty special too! I only wish they'd call me Mom!! Maybe that's not "a thing" anymore? They're still my daughters, either way! And now, a granddaughter...my cup overflows with pink, purple and all things lace...finally! 😍

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Sweet"

These two cuties...They have my heart! Here's another layout from their birthday photo shoot.
They argue and fight, but deep down they kind of like each other. :) We're so blessed to have them living so close.
This pictures are about two and a half years old now! Gulp!! They're growing up so fast, and this Gramma is trying to keep up and stay relevant in their life.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!!

One Page Scrapbook Layout - "Flannel & Beards"

My three boys are definitely of the manly sort.

They can't get enough of their flannel and beards! I love these two pictures of them, so had to scrap them, of course.
I'm recently obsessed with deer and antler embellies. Heidi Swapp did not disappoint! I love the chalkboard look, along with the glitter and plaid flannel combo. Perfect for my three, crazy, bearded men!!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "10K Run"

I do not run. If you ever see me running, you should run too, because something is probably chasing me, and it will catch me. My boys decided to run their first 10K with Fort Wayne's Fort4Fitness event September, 2014. They worked hard and did it!

The paper and embellishments are all from Glitz Designs. It was pretty much perfect for these pictures. Confession time, I'm somewhat obsessed with antlers. Some may ask why I added antlers to the page, but my response is, "Why not!" They are masculine, even when they are in unusual florescent colors.

This page went together really quickly. I love how using matching papers and embellishments helps the process come together beautifully.

My husband and I are sure blessed with two very handsome and talented sons. We couldn't be more proud of the young men they have become!! Had we known how great they'd turn out, I think we would have been tempted to have a few more. ;)

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Covered Bridges"

Here is another layout from our 2013 anniversary weekend at a log cabin in Nashville, Indiana.

These covered bridges were so beautiful covered with sparkly snow. I know we're all looking forward to warmer weather and it's just around the corner, but snow is undeniably beautiful.
And look at the architecture inside of this bridge. I found it fascinating.
The Coredinations cardstock was watermarked with a circular stamp using VersaMark. The deer stamp is Glitz Design "Finley" popped on a punched scallop circle and embossed, then layered on glitter paper, and silver chevron washi.
The ball fringe adds a little bit of texture. The title is Cricut's Plantin' Schoolbook font.
