Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "DINOS"

My kids loved playing with dinosaur toys about 20 years ago when they were still little guys. I'm hoping my grandson will get more interested in them, but so far, he's really into transformers. My boys loved those too, so he comes by that naturally. 😍

Today, I'm sharing one last layout from the Houston e4 conference I attended a few years back. Our final night was at the Museum of Natural History where they had an impressive display of dinosaurs! We gathered and ate many different kinds of foods that were placed at different food stations spread throughout the exhibit. It was a fun night!!

As I've mentioned, part of my job is meeting and event planning. I can't even imagine all that went into this event! Everything was thought through and planned in such great detail. It's strange to look at these pictures where it looks like there was hardly anybody there! There were bunches of people, as you can tell from some of the other event layouts I posted previously.
Again, I used the Teen Angst patterned paper to set off these pictures with the black background, and purple matting. The little alpha stickers add a different dimension for sub-titles on a page. I used them here to spell out the location.
This wraps up my Houston e4 conference layouts! Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by today.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Roll Out the Red Carpet"

Here's another layout from the fun travel conference I attended in Houston a few years back. One of the evening events was in the George Brown Convention Center across the street. It was a bit of a walk, but they sure made the walk interesting!
The lady in red was singing opera. Her gown came down into a red carpet for photos with her. The lady in white was silent, but used her hoop to do all kinds of graceful moves.
The also had a band similar to "Stomp" that  was mainly percussion. They seemed to appear out of nowhere with very little set up. They were really entertaining as they beat on their garbage cans and pots!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Stay warm!!

Two Page Scrapbook Layout --Happy Birthday layout

These two handsome man boys of mine share a birthday...TODAY! How cool is it that they get to share their day? Well it depends on who you ask. I love it. They used to think it was pretty lame, but now they seem to enjoy the uniqueness of sharing a birthday with a sibling.
Apparently I forgot to put the year on here, but I think it was August 22 of 2016.
I think it turned out pretty cute. the "locals only" embellishment is a rub on. I can't tell you the last time I've used one, but I like how it looks on this grungy page.
I love these boys!! Today you turn 28 and 26!! How is this even possible. You're making me feel old!! Dad and I couldn't be any more proud of you. Can't wait to scrap the pics from today.

Two Page Scrapbook Layout - "Purple Mayhem"

Are you ready for some purple? My son was part of a men's a cappella group called Note to Self at Ball State. The whole family went down to watch one of their performances called Purple Mayhem. Whenever our two boys get together they get a little goofy.
Oh man...the girls were swooning with my two handsome boys showing off their modeling poses.
The paper is Teen Angst. I've had this stack forever and have enjoyed it immensely. It's edgy, bright colors with metallic accents are pretty fun. Since both my boys are sporting facial hair, I thought a mustache would be appropriate, along with the mustache washi. Super silly!
These two crack me up and I can't get enough of them. They've grown closer now that my oldest is married and out of the house, and it's fun to see them goofing off.
My youngest is now graduated, but Note to Self lives on and is becoming more well known in the world of a cappella.

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend.
