Oh I miss the cookie making! We didn't have time to get together for this tradition this year. It makes me sad, but I'm also trying to be realistic with everybody's schedules. I miss it! Hopefully we can make a few in the New Year before the extended family gathering. We'll see.

It's All About the Cookies - Two Page Christmas Scrapbook Layout
Sometimes family pictures break my heart for the way things were, but at the same time, these are such fond memories for me, I can't "not" post them.
I was able to get 8 pictures on this layout and still add some patterned paper and journaling. I call that a win. Hope this inspires you in some way!

Family - Two Page Scrapbook Layout
Oh how we miss our siblings! It seems like it has been forever since we've been together. We have such a tight bond and really enjoy each other's company.
This layout is from 3 years ago and I'm not sure why I haven't posted it before. It was a pretty simple layout. Really nothing special about the layout, except that I love these humans. :)
I am pretty excited about the title. This is a draw and cut image from Design Space. Love the extra detail of the drawing.
And the little foxy. I love foxes. They are so cute. The banner at the upper left corner is a sticker from a paper pack. I don't love using stickers, but sometimes they make sense for a quick easy layout. This would be a time that the Cricut journaling would have been handy. My writing is so bad! Hopefully somebody will be able to read this when they look back at it.
I'm my own worst critique, but in hindsight, I would have carried the horizontal banner all the way across the layout. But it's fine...it's all fine. And the beautiful memories of family fun are being preserved for future generations.
Thanks for stopping by!

Living the Life - Two Page Hawaii Scrapbook Layout
One of our favorite mornings in Maui was making our breakfast together and eating it on the lanai. Wish we could wake up to a view like that every day, but what a blessing to enjoy it for a week!!!
I found this beautiful watery paper to use as my background and cut a solid minty green, and a smaller, less busy pattern with words and leaves for a nice contrast to layer with the photos. Even pulled out my corner rounder for the first time in a very long time. The soft edges were fun for a change. As always, I matted the photos with white to help them pop off the page. My Cricut drew and cut the Maui banner. I love instant embellishments that I can size perfectly and match to my page. 😍I added a little chipboard banner and some striped washi to direct the eye across the layout. I thought the dolphins were a fun little last minute add to balance the pages.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today for another Hawaii scrapbook share! Come back soon!
