The sun is shining brightly here in northeast Indiana. People are calling it "fake spring"π. Even though it won't last, it's beautiful to feel the sun shining in through the windows. It won't be long, now...Spring is on it's way.
In the meantime, let's enjoy some more calming scenes from Maui! π Remember what I said about the Road to Hana? The road back is also a beautiful adventure! We continued northeastward around the bottom tip of the island. All of the signs instruct you to go back the way you came, but...we wanted a new adventure. The woodgrain paper had the perfect colors to accentuate the landscape. All of the browns, golds, greens and blues make a beautiful background. The washi tape is from another brand, but worked worked well with it, adding a little extra detail. The title was cut with images from Design Space, along with the little wisps of field grasses.
The rustic road signs are also from Design Space. I let Cricut write the "Road Less Travelled", but wrote the others myself and freehanded the highlights on sign posts. I'm pretty happy with the way this layout turned out. It sure makes me want to go back!!Thanks for stopping my blog today!! Hope you are enjoying some sunshine in your corner of the world!
